2. Our current use
Google Analytics helps us understand visits, viewed pages, traffic sources, approximate location, device categories and site interactions. We use this information to assess performance and improve the website. Google Search Console separately provides reports about impressions, clicks, search queries, pages, countries, devices, click-through rate and average search position; it is not itself a cookie placed through this website.
Basic server and security logs are not necessarily cookies. The site’s hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, browser information and diagnostic data to deliver and protect the site.
3. Third-party services
Google Analytics
Google Analytics uses measurement technologies to distinguish visitors and sessions and report how the website is used. In a standard implementation, the _ga cookie stores a client identifier, while a property-specific _ga_<container-id> cookie maintains session state. Expiration periods depend on the Analytics configuration and may refresh when data is sent to Google. Google may also receive the requested page URL, IP address, browser and device information and interaction events.
Google Search Console
Search Console supplies aggregated Google Search performance information, including impressions, clicks, queries and average position. It does not require a Search Console cookie to be placed on this website’s visitors.
Google Fonts
The site loads the Instrument Sans typeface from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font resources, Google may receive standard connection information such as your IP address, browser details and the page making the request.
FormSubmit
When you choose to submit the contact form, the form data is sent to FormSubmit at formsubmit.co so it can be delivered to our designated email recipient. This is an intentional form submission rather than passive advertising tracking. FormSubmit and its infrastructure may use technical security measures and server logs under its own policies.
External links
If you follow a link to another website, that service may set its own cookies. Myles Equipment does not control third-party sites, and you should review their privacy and cookie information.

4. Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies and clear site data. These controls are usually found under privacy or security settings. Blocking or deleting Analytics cookies may reduce our ability to distinguish visits and sessions but should not prevent you from reading the site or submitting an enquiry.
You can also limit third-party requests using browser privacy settings, content blockers or network controls. Blocking Google Fonts may cause the site to use a system fallback font. If you do not want to submit information through FormSubmit, contact us directly by telephone or email instead of using the form.
5. Do Not Track and preference signals
Because this site does not currently perform behavioural advertising or cross-site tracking, it does not alter functionality in response to a Do Not Track signal. If recognised legal opt-out signals become relevant to future site practices, we will evaluate and implement appropriate handling.
6. Future changes
We may add or change website tools. Before introducing non-essential analytics, advertising or preference cookies, we will update this policy and implement any notice or consent mechanism required by applicable law. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
